Music is Healing provides opportunities for youth to be exposed to language, performance, media and healing arts. Our events connect local artists, poets, performers, media-makers, educators, activists, students and teachers into a cohesive and vibrant community of learning producing diverse forms of arts, media and cultural expressions through monthly celebrations and bi-weekly workshops offered in various spaces, citywide. Each event features a water ritual, a short film screening, a poetry reading and a presentation on food by a local chef or nutrition specialist, including a DJ/sound system + live music. Join us and meet the crew at one of our artist mixers coming up in various locations in the Greater Boston Area, starting August 1st at Workbar in Central Sq.
